Ingredients list for Falafel With Oats
- 1/2 cup Chickpeas (kabuli chana) soaked and boiled
 - 1 cup Oats
 - 1 teaspoon Coriander seeds roasted
 - 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds roasted
 - 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
 - to taste Salt
 - 2-3 Black peppercorns roasted
 - 1 Green chilli
 - 1 tablespoon Fresh coriander leaves chopped
 - 2 cloves Garlic
 - 1 teaspoon Lemon juice
 - 2 tablespoons Bread crumbs
 - 2 teaspoons Olive oil
 - to deep fry Oil
 
Method
- Grind together chickpeas, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, red chilli powder, salt, peppercorns, green chilli, coriander leaves, garlic and lemon juice into a coarse paste.
 - Transfer the mixture into a bowl and add breadcrumbs, oats, olive oil and enough water to make a stiff dough.
 - Divide the dough into equal portions and shape into one-inch ovals.Heat sufficient oil in a kadai and deep-fry the falafels, a few at a time, on medium heat till golden brown.
 - Drain on absorbent paper. Serve hot.
