Ingredients list for Egg Masala Pav - SK Khazana
- 4 Eggs boiled
- 2 Pavs
- 2 tablespoons Oil
- 1 tablespoon Butter
- 2 medium Onoins finely chopped + to serve
- 1 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste
- 2 medium Tomatoes finely chopped + to serve
- to taste Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 2 tablespoons Red chilli paste
- 1 medium Potato boiled, peeled and mashed
- 1 small Green capsicum chopped
- 1 tablespoon Fresh coriander leaves chopped
- 1 tablespoon Pav bhaji masala
Method
- Cut 2 pavs into small pieces.
- Heat oil and butter in a deep non-stick wok, add onions and ginger-garlic paste, mix and sauté till onions turn translucent.
- Add tomatoes and mix well. Add salt, mix and sauté till tomatoes soften. Add red chilli powder and red chilli paste, mix and sauté till oil separates.
- Add potato, capsicum and coriander leaves and mix. Add pav bhaji masala and mix well. Add ½ cup water, mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Grate 3 boiled eggs into the pan, mix well. Add ½ cup water and mix well. Add pav pieces, mix well and cook for a minute.
- Transfer egg masala pav onto a serving plate. Grate the remaining egg over it, garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with tomato and onion salad and a lemon slice.
