Ingredients
- Dosa batter as required
 - 1 tablespoon oil
 - 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
 - 1 teaspoon curry leaves, chopped
 - ½ teaspoon green chillies, finely chopped
 - 1 medium onion, finely chopped
 - 1 medium tomato, finely chopped
 - Salt to taste
 - ½ teaspoon red chilli powder
 - ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
 - 2 tablespoons fresh coriander leaves chopped
 - Green coconut chutney to serve
 
Method
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add mustard seeds and let them splutter. Add curry leaves, green chillies and onions, mix and sauté till onion turns translucent.
 - Add tomatoes and salt, mix well and saute till tomato turns soft and pulpy. Add chilli powder and turmeric powder, mix well and saute for a minute. Set aside to cool.
 - Take dosa batter in a large bowl, add the cooked mixture, coriander leaves and salt and mix well.
 - Heat a waffle iron and grease it lightly with a little oil. Pour the batter, cover and cook till fully done. Make more waffles in the same way.
 - Place waffles on a serving platter and serve hot with green coconut chutney.
