Ingredients list for Dhadpe Pohe - SK Khazana
- 2 1/2 cups Thin pressed rice (patle pohe)
- 2 tablespoons Oil
- 1/2 teaspoon Mustard seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon Asafoetida
- 1 Green chilli chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1 Medium onion finely chopped
- 2 teaspoons Methkut
- to taste Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons Fresh coconut scraped
- 1 Curd chilli fried
Method
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add mustard seeds and let them splutter. Add asafoetida, green chilli and turmeric powder and sauté.
- Take poha in a large bowl. Add onions, methkut, salt, sugar, lemon juice, coriander leaves, coconut and the prepared tempering. Mix well.
- Cover and let it rest for 20-25 minutes.
- Crumble the curd chilli and add to the poha mixture and mix well.
- Serve.
