Ingredients for Dhadpe Pohe - SK Khazana Recipe

  • Thin pressed rice (patle pohe) 2 1/2 cups

  • Oil 2 tablespoons

  • Mustard seeds 1/2 teaspoon

  • Asafoetida 1/4 teaspoon

  • Green chilli chopped 1

  • Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Medium onion finely chopped 1

  • Methkut 2 teaspoons

  • Salt to taste

  • Sugar 1/2 teaspoon

  • Lemon juice 1 teaspoon

  • Fresh coriander leaves finely chopped 2 tablespoons

  • Fresh coconut scraped 2 tablespoons

  • Curd chilli fried 1

Method

Step 1

Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add mustard seeds and let them splutter. Add asafoetida, green chilli and turmeric powder and sauté.

Step 2

Take poha in a large bowl. Add onions, methkut, salt, sugar, lemon juice, coriander leaves, coconut and the prepared tempering. Mix well.

Step 3

Cover and let it rest for 20-25 minutes.

Step 4

Crumble the curd chilli and add to the poha mixture and mix well.

Step 5

Serve.
