Keep it aside. Heat oil in a non stick pan add bay leaves and dry red chillies and saute till fragrant. Add cumin seeds, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, salt and mix well. Add the boiled dal, paneer and sugar and let it simmer on medium flame for ten minutes.
