Ingredients
- 1 small cabbage, finely shredded
- 2 medium carrots, grated
- 100 grams paneer (cottage cheese), crumbled
- 1/2 cup yogurt, drained
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon mustard powder
- 1/2 teaspoon white pepper powder
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon caraway seeds (shahi jeera)
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 medium onion, grated
Method
- Crumble the paneer and place in a blender with the drained yogurt, salt, mustard powder, white pepper powder, sugar and caraway seeds.
- Process till smooth. Add the milk and process again. Place the shredded cabbage in a bowl. Add the salt, lemon juice and grated carrots and mix well.
- Squeeze out the water from the grated onion and add to the salad bowl. Add the dressing and toss to mix. Serve at once.
