Ingredients list for Coconut Aur Til Ki Chutney
- 4 tablespoons Sesame seeds (til)
- 3 tablespoons Coconut grated
- 1 tablespoon Oil
- 1 1/4 teaspoon Mustard seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- 2 Green chillies slit
- a pinch Asafoetida
- 1/2 teaspoon Coriander powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Sugar
- to taste Salt
Method
- Heat a small non stick pan, dry roast sesame seeds and grated coconut. Remove from heat and allow it to cool.
- Grind the mixture to a coarse powder.Heat oil in a non stick pan, once hot add mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Allow it to splutter.
- Add green chillies, asafoetida, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and red chilli powder. Mix well.
- Add lemon juice, sugar ans salt and saute for one minute.
- Add the sesame seed and coconut powder to the pan and mix well.
- Allow to cool and store in air tight containers.
