Ingredients list for Cheesy Masala Rice Balls
- 1 cup Cooked rice
- 2-3 tablespoons Processed cheese grated
- 1 medium Onion chopped
- 1 tablespoon coriander leaves chopped
- to taste Salt
- ½ teaspoon Red chilli powder
- ¼ teaspoon Turmeric powder
- ½ teaspoon Chaat masala
- 1 tablespoon Gram flour (besan)
- 1 tablespoon Rice flour
- ½ Lemon , squeezed
- for deep-frying Oil
Method
- Put rice, onion, coriander leaves, salt, chilli powder, turmeric powder, chaat masala, gram flour, rice flour, and cheese and lemon juice in a bowl and mix well.
- Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
- Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into balls.
- Deep-fry the balls in hot oil till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
- Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
