Ingredients list for Chana Puri Chaat
- 4 tablespoons Black Bengal Gram soaked overnight boiled
- 20 Pani Puri Puris
- 2 medium Potatoes boiled and peeled cut into 1 inch thick slices
- 1 tablespoon Ginger-green chilli paste
- 1 tablespoon Tamarind paste
- 1 teaspoon Rock salt (sendha namak)
- to taste Salt
- 1 teaspoon Roasted cumin powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Chaat masala
- 1 teaspoon Lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped
- 2 tablespoons Sweet date and tamarind chutney
Method
- In a big bowl, add black chana, potato, ginger-green chilli paste, tamarind paste, rock salt, salt, roasted cumin powder, chaat masala, lemon juice and mix well.
- Crush the puris and add to the above mixture and toss well.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and tamarind chutney and serve immediately.
