Ingredients list for Cauliflower Popcorns
- 1 cup Cauliflower small florets
- ½ teaspoon Refined Flour
- ¼ teaspoon Turmeric powder
- ½ teaspoon Garam masala powder
- ½ teaspoon Dried mango powder
- to taste Salt
- 1 cup Refined flour (maida)
- 1 cup Maize flour (makkai ka atta)
- 1 tablespoon Gram flour (besan)
- a pinch Soda bicarbonate
- for deep-frying Oil
- for sprink Chaat masala
Method
- Mix together cauliflower florets, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, dried mango powder and salt in a bowl.
- To make the batter, mix together refined flour, maize flour, gram flour and soda bicarbonate in another bowl. Add sufficient chilled water and mix well to make a thick batter.
- Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
- Dip cauliflower florets in the batter till they are evenly coated, slide them into the hot oil and deep fry till crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
- Transfer on a serving plate, sprinkle chaat masala and serve hot.
