Ingredients list for Butter Chicken Poutine
- 450 grams Chicken Tikka readymade
- 1 tablespoon Oil
- 3-4 Green cardamoms
- 1 Mace
- ½ inch Cinnamon
- 3-4 Tomatoes pureed
- 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder
- to taste Salt
- ½ teaspoon Honey
- for greasing Fresh cream ½ cup +
- ¼ teaspoon Dried fenugreek leaves (kasoori methi) crushed
- 1 tablespoon Butter
- as required French fries
- 100 grams Processed cheese cut into small cubes
- for garnishing Fresh coriander leaves
Method
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan.Add cardamom, mace, cinnamon and sauté till fragrant.
- Add tomato puree, mix well and cook for 3-4 minutes.
- Add red chilli powder and garam masala powder and mix well.
- Add salt and honey, mix and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add cream and mix well.
- Add fenugreek leaves and mix. Add butter and mix well.
- Remove from heat and strain the gravy into a bowl.
- Place some French fries in a serving platter. Top with chicken tikka pieces, some more French fries and some more chicken tikka pieces. Pour the prepared gravy, drizzle some cream and add some cheese cubes.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve immediately.
