Healthy snacking is the best way to satisfy your munchies without the worry of to many added calories.

Ingredients for Atta Pizza - SK Khazana Recipe

  • Pizza sauce as required

  • Capsicum mixed, triangles 1 cup

  • Button mushrooms sliced 6-8

  • Chicken sausages sliced 4

  • Sweet corn kernels 4 tablespoons

  • Black olives pitted and sliced 6-8

  • Mozzarella cheese cut into small cubes 40 grams

  • Red chilli flakes dried, for sprinkling

  • Dried oregano for sprinkling

  • Dough

  • Whole wheat flour (atta) cups 1 1/2 + for dusting

  • Fresh yeast 20 grams

  • Sugar 1 teaspoon

  • Olive oil + for greasing 1 teaspoon

  • Salt 1 teaspoon


Step 1

To make pizza dough, take yeast in a bowl, add sugar and ¼ cup warm water, mix well and set aside for 10 minutes to activate.

Step 2

Take whole wheat flour in a large bowl, add activated yeast, olive oil, salt and sufficient water, mix well and knead to soft dough.

Step 3

Cover the dough with a damp muslin cloth and set aside for 10-15 minutes to prove.

Step 4

Dust flour on a worktop and knock back the proved dough. Take a portion of the dough, shape it like a ball, place it on the worktop and flatten it slightly.Roll the dough into a disc and place it on a greased baking tray. Cover with a damp muslin cloth and set aside for 10 minutes to prove.

Step 5

Preheat the oven to 180° C.

Step 6

Apply pizza sauce and spread it evenly. Sprinkle some a few mixed capsicum triangles, a few mushroom slices, a few chicken sausage slices, 1 tbsp sweetcorn kernels, a few black olive slices and a few mozzarella cheese cubes and place the tray in the oven. Bake for 10-15 minutes. Take it out of the oven and transfer to a serving dish.

Step 7

Sprinkle dried red chilli flakes and dried oregano over the pizza and serve hot.
