Ingredients
- 2 asparagus, chopped
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 2 green chillies, chopped
- 1 teaspoon choppedgarlic
- 1 teaspoon chopped ginger
- Salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
Method
- Heat one tablespoon oil in a non stick pan add cumin seeds, when it satrts spluttering add asparagus and saute till tender. Remove from flame and keep it aside.
- In the same pan heat the remaining oil add onions and sugar and saute till sugar caramalizes. Add green chillies, garlic, ginger and saute for two minutes.
- Add salt, cayenne pepper, turmeric powder, roasted cuminpowder and coriander powder and saute for a minute.
Add asparagus and saute for a minute. Remove from flame and serve hot.
