Ingredients list for Angoor ki Kheer
- 18-20 Red Grapes seedless
- 4 tablespoons Rice soaked
- 1 teaspoon Oil
- 1 tablespoon Black currants
- 1 tablespoon Raisins
- 1 tablespoon Almonds slivered
- 1 tablespoon Pistachios slivered
- 4 tablespoons Sugar
- 1/2 cup Khoya/mawa grated
- 1/2 cup Milk
- a pinch Green cardamom powder
Method
- Halve the grapes and set aside. Coarsely grind the rice using little water. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add black currants, raisins, almonds and pistachios and sauté for a minute.
- Add red grapes and sauté for 4-5 minutes. Transfer the mixture into a bowl. Pour ½ litre water into the same pan. Add ground rice and mix well. Cook for 12-15 minutes or till rice is cooked.
- Add khoya and milk and mix well. Add green cardamom powder and cook for 5-6 minutes stirring continuously. Transfer the kheer into serving bowls. Sprinkle sautéed nuts and grapes and serve.
