Ingredients for Aloo Cheese Frankie - SK Khazana Recipe

  • Medium potatoes boiled, peeled and mashed 4

  • Processed cheese 20 grams

  • Refined flour chapattis 4

  • Oil 1 tablespoon

  • Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon

  • Green chillies finely chopped 1-2

  • Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Coriander powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Cumin powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Frankie masala 1/2 teaspo to sprinkle

  • Salt to taste

  • Fresh coriander leaves chopped 1 tablespo to sprinkle

  • Schezwan chutney 4 tablespoons

  • Vinegar 2 teaspoons

  • Tomato ketchup to serve

Method

Step 1

Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add cumin seeds and let them change colour. Add green chillies and potatoes and mix well.

Step 2

Add chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and frankie masala, mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Step 3

Add salt and mix. Add coriander leaves, mix well and cook for a minute. Remove from heat and set aside.

Step 4

Heat a non-stick tawa. Place chapattis one by one and roast till lightly browned from both the sides.

Step 5

Spread 1 tablespoon Schezwan chutney and a generous portion of cooked potato mixture on top. Sprinkle some coriander leaves, frankie masala and drizzle ½ teaspoon vinegar. Grate in 5 grams cheese, roll and let the cheese melt slightly.

Step 6

Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
