By Sanjeev Kapoor 11 Mar 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Urad Dal Wadi, Basmati Rice Cuisine Punjabi Course Rice Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Wadian Pulao 5-6 Urad Dal Wadi roughly crushed 1 1/2 cups Basmati Rice soaked 3 tablespoons Oil 2 Bay leaves 2 Green cardamoms 4 Cloves 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds 1 small Onion sliced 2 Tomatoes, chopped 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder to taste Salt 2 large Onions cut into rings and deep fried Method Slice off the tops of the capsicums and remove the seeds. In a bowl take onions, half the garlic, rice, mutton mince, salt, crushed dry mint leaves and mix. Add crushed dry red chillies, crushed roasted dry red chillies and mix well. Stuff the capsicums with this mixture and place them in a pan. Place the pan on medium heat. Add oil, remaining garlic, tomatoes, tomato puree, salt and red chilli flakes. Add two cups of water and bring it to a boil. Cover and cook on low heat for twenty five to thirty minutes so that the mutton and the rice get completely cooked.
