Ingredients for WONDER GRAVY Recipe

  • Oil 4 tablespoons

  • Onions ,finely chopped 2 large

  • Ginger-garlic paste 1 1/2 tablespoons

  • Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon

  • Coriander powder 1 1/2 teaspoons

  • Cumin powder 1 teaspoon

  • Fresh tomato puree 1 cup

  • Canned tomato puree 1/2 cup

  • Salt to taste

  • Cashewnut paste 1 tablespoon

  • Garam masala powder teaspoon

  • Honey 2 teaspoons


Step 1

Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add onions and sauté till they turn golden brown.

Step 2

Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for 2-3 minutes or till the raw smell goes away.

Step 3

Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, and cumin seeds and sauté for 1-2 minutes.

Step 4

Add the fresh tomato puree, canned tomato puree and salt and mix well. Cover and cook till the oil separates.

Step 5

Add cashew nut paste, garam masala powder and mix well. Add honey and mix. Switch the heat off.

Step 6

Allow the gravy to cool completely before storing in an air tight container. Store refrigerated.

Step 7

Use this for making gravies of your choice.
