Ingredients list for Sweet And Sour Prawns (Parsi Style)
- 1 teaspoon Prawns
- 16 Honey shelled and deveined
- 1 1/2 tablespoons Tamarind paste
- 1 teaspoon Vinegar
- 2 tablespoons Oil
- 6-8 Garlic cloves finely chopped
- 1 inch piece Ginger finely chopped
- 2 Green chillies finely chopped
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Red chilli powder
- to taste Salt
- 1-2 teaspoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped
Method
- Heat oil in a non stick kadai. Add garlic and ginger and sauté till fragrant.
- Add green chillies and sauté till fragrant.
- Add tamarind paste, red chilli powder and salt and mix well. Add vinegar and mix well.
- Add the prawns and cook on a high heat.
- Add honey and coriander leaves and mix well.
- Transfer in a serving plate and serve hot.
