Be a kid or a teenage or an adult or an oldie, chicken lovers trend all over the world at all times! One meat that is a favourite of all beyond belief! When cooked, it can be presented in many guises. Sauté it, fry it, toss it, bake it, steam it – eat it the way you want to. Whatever its form may be upon being cooked, its flavour may change but its flesh remains high in protein, low in fat and can be digested easily.

Ingredients for Peri Peri Chicken Nuggets - SK Khazana Recipe

  • Boneless chicken cut into cubes 250 grams

  • Powdered sugar 1 tablespoon

  • Onion powder 1 tablespoon

  • Garlic powder 1 tablespoon

  • Dried oregano 1 teaspoon

  • Smoked paprika 1 tablespoon

  • Red chilli flakes 1 tablespoon

  • Salt to taste

  • Cinnamon powder 1 teaspoon

  • Red chilli powder 1 tablespoon

  • Cornflour slurry as required

  • Panko crumbs for coating

  • Oil for deep-frying

  • Tomato ketchup as required

Method

Step 1

Mix together powdered sugar, onion powder, garlic powder, dried oregano, paprika, chilli flakes, salt, cinnamon powder and chilli powder in a bowl. Add chicken cubes and mix well.

Step 2

Dip chicken pieces in slurry and coat with panko crumbs.

Step 3

Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Deep-fry chicken cubes till golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.

Step 4

Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
