Ingredients
- 250 grams cottage cheese, cut into 1 inch cubes
 - 2 medium tomatoes, roughly chopped
 - 2 tablespoons oil + to deep fry
 - 2 medium green capsicums, cut into thin strips
 - 1 tablespoon chopped ginger
 - 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
 - 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
 - 1/2 teaspoon fennel powder
 - 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
 - 2 medium tomatoes, pureed
 - 1 tablespoon tomato sauce
 - Salt to taste
 - 2 tablespoons chopped coriander leaves
 
Method
- Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Deep fry the cottage cheese till golden brown. Drain on an absorbent paper and set aside.
 - Heat two tablespoons oil in a non stick pan. Add onions, capsicum, ginger, garlic and sauté till onions are golden brown..
 - Add turmeric powder, fennel powder and garam masala. Sauté for half minute. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce and salt. Cook for five to seven minutes.
 - Add half cup water and mix well. Add cottage cheese pieces and simmer for ten minutes or until the gravy is thick.
 - Serve hot garnished with coriander leaves.
