Ingredients
- 2 big onion chopped
- 2 tsp tamarind water
- 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 10 curry leaves
- 1 teaspoon black gram split (urad dal dhuli)
- 2 dried red chillies
- 2 green chilli
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons oil
Method
- Heat oil in non stick pan, add the mustard seeds, curry leaves, uradd dal, red chillies and green chillies.
- Saute till golden. Remove from heat and allow the mixture to cool.
- In a blender add the onions and blend with the above mixture to a smooth paste.
- Remove in a bowl add salt and tamarind water. Mix well and serve.
