Ingredients list for Muri Ghonto

  • 2-3 Rohu Fish
  • 2 tablespoons Potatoes
  • 2 medium Onions chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 2 teaspoons Rice
  • 2 teaspoons Rice soaked
  • to taste Salt
  • 2 Potatoes diced

Method

  1. Heat oil in a non stick pan add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
  2. Add onion and saute till light brown. Add cumin powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala, coriander powder, rice and a minute.
  3. Add salt, fish and half cup water and let it simmer till the fish is tender. Remove from flame. Serve hot with rice.
