Matka Chana Chaat Chatpata kala chana chaat served in matkas This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 29 May 2014 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Bengal gram (chana),soaked overnight, Cumin seeds Cuisine Delhi Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Select Taste Level of Cooking Others Veg Advertisment Ingredients list for Matka Chana Chaat 1 cup Bengal gram (chana),soaked overnight 1 1/2 teaspoons Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon Coriander seeds 1/2 teaspoon Mustard seeds 2 Dried red chilli 2 Green chilli 15-20 Mint leaves to taste Salt 1/2 teaspoon Black salt (kala namak) 1/2 teaspoon Chaat masala 1 teaspoon Tamarind pulp 1 small Onion 1/2 tin Sweet Corn Method Drain and pressure cook the chana with 3 cups water till just done. Drain and reserve the cooking liquour. Dry roast cumin seeds, coriander seeds, mustard seeds till fragrant. Add dried red chillies and continue to roast for half a minute.Grind together green chillies, mint leaves, roasted spices, salt, black salt, chaat masala, tamarind pulp with a little water to a fine paste. Chop onion and put into a bowl. Add boiled chana and masala paste and mix well. Add sweet corn and mix lightly.
