By Sanjeev Kapoor 03 May 2016 in Recipes Course New Update " frameborder="0" allowfullscreen> Advertisment Main Ingredients Milk, Cashewnuts Cuisine Indian Course Beverages Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 41-50 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Masala Doodh 1 litre Milk 8-10 Cashewnuts 1 tablespoon Charoli / chironji 1 tablespoon Pistachios 4-5 Almonds 1/2 teaspoons Nutmeg powder A few saffron strands 4 tablespoons Sugar 1 tablespoon Almond slivers a pinch Green cardamom powder Advertisment Method Boil milk in a non-stick pan. When it comes to a boil, reduce heat and simmer till the milk reduces to three-fourth its original quantity. Add saffron and mix well. Grind cashewnuts, charoli, pistachios, almonds and nutmeg powder to a coarse powder. Add sugar and three tablespoons nut powder to the reduced milk and mix well. Add almond slivers and cardamom powder, mix well and simmer for ten to twelve minutes. Pour into four individual glasses and serve hot or chilled. The remaining powder can be stored.
