Ingredients for Kali Meeri Nimbuwale Aloo Recipe

  • Black Peppercorns crushed 1 teaspoon

  • Lemon Juice boiled and peeled 5 medium

  • Lemon juice 2 tablespoons

  • Lemon rind grated 1/2 teaspoon

  • Ghee 1 tablespoon

  • Asafoetida 1/4 teaspoon

  • Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon

  • Green chillies 2

  • Black salt (kala namak) 1/4 teaspoon

  • Salt to taste

  • Dried mango powder 1/4 teaspoon

  • Fresh coriander leaves chopped 1 tablespoon


Step 1

Chop potatoes and keep them in a bowl. Heat ghee in a non-stick pan. Add asafoetida, cumin seeds, crushed black peppercorns and sauté.

Step 2

Chop green chillies and add. Add potato and toss. Add black salt, salt, dried mango powder, lemon juice and lemon rind and toss well.

Step 3

Add coriander leaves and mix well. Transfer into a serving bowl and serve hot.
