Ingredients list for Jeera Boti Kebab in Tacos

  • 250 grams Boneless mutton cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin powder roasted
  • 8 Taco shells
  • 2 tablespoons Oil
  • 1 medium Onion sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Ginger-garlic paste
  • 1½ teaspoons Red chilli powder
  • to taste Crushed black peppercorns
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • as required Onion sliced
  • for garnishing Lemon wedges
  • Sour cream for drizzling

Method

  1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add onion and sauté till golden. Add mutton pieces, mix and cook for 5 minutes.
  2. Add ginger-garlic paste, mix and cook for 1 minute. Add chilli powder, roasted cumin powder, crushed peppercorns and salt, mix and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Add lemon juice, mix and cook for 1-2 minutes.Cover and cook for 15-20 minutes or till mutton pieces are fully done.
  4. Place taco shells on a serving platter and put some cooked mutton mixture into each shell. Put some sliced onions and drizzle some sour cream on top.
  5. Serve immediately garnished with lemon wedges.
