Be a kid or a teenage or an adult or an oldie, chicken lovers trend all over the world at all times! One meat that is a favourite of all beyond belief! When cooked, it can be presented in many guises. Sauté it, fry it, toss it, bake it, steam it – eat it the way you want to. Whatever its form may be upon being cooked, its flavour may change but its flesh remains high in protein, low in fat and can be digested easily.

Ingredients for Chicken Omelette-SK Khazana Recipe

  • Boneless chicken boiled and shredded 200 grams

  • Eggs 6

  • Salt to taste

  • Black peppercorns crushed to taste

  • Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon

  • Chaat masala 1 teaspoon

  • Medium onion sliced 1

  • Spring onion greens chopped 2 tablespoons

  • Milk 1/2 cup

  • Oil 2 tablespoons

  • Butter 2 tablespoons

  • White bread slices 8


Step 1

To make 2 omelettes, mix together half the chicken, 3 eggs, salt, crushed peppercorns, ½ teaspoon chilli powder, ½ teaspoon chaat masala, half the onion and 1 tablespoon spring onion greens in a bowl. Add ¼ cup milk and mix well.

Step 2

Heat oil and butter in a non-stick tawa. Pour the prepared mixture on it and spread. Dip bread slices in the egg and set aside. Cook till the underside of the omelette is browned.

Step 3

Place 2 bread slices side by side in the centre of the omelette, flip and fold the omelette from the sides.

Step 4

Place the remaining bread slices on top, halve, flip and cook till the bread are toasted well on both sides. Make 2 more omelettes similarly.

Step 5

Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
