Ingredients list for Chatpata Cheesy Tikka

  • for garnishing Processed cheese 1 cup grated +
  • 400 grams Boneless chicken cut into pieces,
  • 2 teaspoons Chana masala
  • 1½ teaspoons Cumin powder
  • 2 teaspoons Chaat masala
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 2 Green chillies finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Green chutney
  • ½ cup Fresh cream
  • ¾ cup Yogurt
  • 2 teaspoons Ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 teaspoons Lemon juice
  • to taste Salt
  • for greasing Oil

Method

  1. Heat a Gas Oven Tandoor (GOT).
  2. Take a parat. Add chana masala, cumin powder, chaat masala, red chilli powder, green chillies, green chutney, cream, yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice and cheese and mix well.
  3. Add chicken pieces and salt and mix well. Set aside to marinate for 4 hours.
  4. Grease the Gas Oven Tandoor with some oil.
  5. Skewer the marinated chicken pieces onto satay sticks, place on the Gas Oven Tandoor, cover with the lid and cook till the chicken is fully done, flipping once a while in between.
  6. Garnish with grated cheese and serve hot with green chutney.
