Ingredients for Chana Kurkura - SK Khazana Recipe

  • Chickpeas (kabuli chane) soaked overnight and boiled 1 cup

  • Gram flour 1 cup

  • Rice flour 1/2 cup

  • Red chilli powder 1 tablespoon

  • Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Garam masala powder 1 teaspoon

  • Baking soda 1/4 teaspoon

  • Fresh coriander leaves chopped 2 tablespoons

  • Salt to taste

  • Chaat masala to sprinkle


Step 1

Mix together chickpeas, gram flour, rice flour, chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, baking soda, coriander leaves and salt with ½ cup water.

Step 2

Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Deep-fry chickpeas till golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.

Step 3

Sprinkle chaat masala on top and serve hot.
