How to make Boondi Salad -

Foreign invasions, trade relations and colonialism had introduced certain foods to the country like potato, chillies and breadfruit.

Ingredients for Boondi Salad Recipe

  • Boondi 1 small

  • Cucumber 1 cup

  • Cucumber cut into ½ inch cubes 1

  • Tomato cut into ½ inch cubes 1

  • Carrot cut into ½ inch cubes 1

  • Green chilli finely chopped 1

  • Vinegar 1 teaspoon

  • coriander leaves chopped 2 tablespoons

  • Salt to taste

  • Chaat masala 1 teaspoon

  • Lemon juice 1 teaspoon


Step 1

Grind mint leaves with sufficient water and make a fine paste.

Step 2

In a bowl add boondi, small pieces of cucumber, tomato , carrot and green chilli, vinegar, coriander leaves,salt, chat masala and mint paste.

Step 3

Toss it and sprinkle the lemon juice over it.
