Be a kid or a teenage or an adult or an oldie, chicken lovers trend all over the world at all times! One meat that is a favourite of all beyond belief! When cooked, it can be presented in many guises. Sauté it, fry it, toss it, bake it, steam it – eat it the way you want to. Whatever its form may be upon being cooked, its flavour may change but its flesh remains high in protein, low in fat and can be digested easily.

Prep Time : 11-15 minutes

Cook time : 16-20 minutes

Ingredients for Bihari Kabab Recipe

  • Boneless Chicken cut into cubes 400 grams

  • Brown Onion Paste 3 tablespoons

  • Hung yogurt 1/2 cup

  • Garlic paste 2 tablespoons

  • Cumin powder 2 teaspoons

  • Coriander powder 2 teaspoons

  • Crushed black peppercorns 1 teaspoon

  • Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Star anise powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Mace powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Salt to taste

  • Oil 2 tablespoons

  • Satay sticks 4-5


Step 1

Mix onion paste, yogurt, garlic paste, ginger paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, crushed peppercorns, red chilli powder, star anise powder, mace powder, salt in a bowl. Add the chicken cubes and mix well. Keep the chicken in the refrigerator to marinate for one hour.

Step 2

String the marinated chicken cubes onto satay sticks. Heat oil on a non-stick grill pan. Place the satay sticks on it and cook, rotating the satay stick, till the chicken is evenly cooked on all around.

Step 3

Serve immediately with green chutney.
