Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 lemon, halved
- ½ teaspoon green cardamom powder
- 6-8 cashewnuts, halved
- 10-15 saffron strands
- Puris for serving
Method
- Heat a pan, add sugar and 1 cup water and cook till sugar melts.
- Squeeze the juice lemon into the pan, add green cardamom powder, mix and cook till it reaches 2 string consistency.
- Switch off the heat, add cashewnuts and saffron and mix well.
- Serve warm with puris.
