Ingredients
- 250 grams rohu fish pieces
- 4 tablespoons mustard oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 green chillies, chopped
- Salt to taste
- Slit green chilli for garnish
Method
- Heat 3 tablespoons mustard oil in a non-stick pan till it begins to smoke. Cool slightly, heat the oil again, slide in the rohu fish pieces and shallow-fry on medium heat, turning sides, for 4-5 minutes and drain on absorbent paper.
- Discard the skin and bones and crumble the flesh.
- Transfer the fish flesh into a bowl, add onion, green chillies, salt and 1 tablespoon mustard oil and mix well.
- Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with slit green chilli and serve.
