Ingredients list for Rohu fish in white gravy
- 4 darnes Rohu Fish
- 1/2 teaspoon Onion Seeds
- to taste Salt
- 2 tablespo for deep-frying Oil
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- 3 teaspoons Mustard paste
- 4 teaspoons Poppy seed paste (khuskhus)
- 6 teaspoons sesame paste
Method
- Marinate fish in turmeric and salt and refrigerate it for fifteen minutes.
- Heat oil in a non stick kadai and deep fry the fish till light brown. Keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a non stick pan add onion seeds and cumin seeds . When it starts cracking dd mustard paste, khuskhus and sesame paste.
- Add salt , half cup water and let it simmer for five minutes. Add fish and cook for a minute serve hot with rice.
