Ingredients
- 8-10 Pro V Select Fard Whole Natural Dates (khajur)
- 3 medium tomatoes (tamatar), roughly chopped
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 teaspoon onion seeds (kalaunji)
- 1 bay leaf
- Salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon sugar
Method
- Deseed and slice Pro V Select Fard Whole Natural Dates.
- Heat oil in a shallow non-stick pan, add onion seeds and bay leaves, mix and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Add tomatoes and salt, mix well, cover and cook on medium heat till the tomatoes are soft and pulpy.
- Add dates and sugar, mix well and cook on medium heat for 4-5 minutes.
- Transfer into a serving bowl and serve warm or at room temperature.
