Ingredients
- Lemon Ice Cubes
- ½ cup lemon juice
- Lemon slices as required
- A few saffron strands
- ¼ cup sugar
- Black salt to taste
- Drinking soda for serving

- ¾ cup tamarind chutney
- Black salt to taste

- SaunfShikanji Ice Cubes
- ¼ cup roasted fennel seeds (saunf)
- ½ cup castor sugar
- Salt to taste

Method
- To make lemon ice cubes, mix saffron with ½ cup of water.
- Arrange the lemon slices in each dent of an ice tray.
- Take lemon juice in a bowl, add sugar, black salt and 1 cup water and mix well till sugar dissolves. Add saffron water and mix well.
- Pour this mixture into each dent of the ice tray and freeze for 6-8 hours.
- Demould and put 3-4 ice cubes in each serving glass. Top up with drinking soda and serve chilled.
- To make imli ice cubes, take 1 cup water in a bowl, add tamarind chutney and black salt, mix well.
- Pour this mixture into each dent of the ice tray and freeze for 6-8 hours.

- To make saunfshikanji ice cubes, take 1½ cups water in a bowl. Add sugar and mix well till sugar dissolves. Add salt, fennel seeds and mix well.
