Corn Ribs

Crisp and flavor-packed seasoning on the outside and tender, juicy corn kernels in the middle is an epic side dish. Don’t be mistaken by the name, these corn ribs or riblets are vegetarian. It just gets its name because the shape resembles curved ribs.

Method

  1. Preheat an air fryer to 180° C 
  2. Vertically cut the corn on the cob into wedges.
  3. To make the marinade, take extra virgin olive oil in a bowl. Add crushed black peppercorns, onion powder, red chilli powder, smoked paprika and salt and mix well. 
  4. Brush the marinade generously over each corn wedge. 
  5. Grease the air fryer basket with some oil. Arrange the corn wedges in its basket, fit the basket in the air fryer and air fry them for 20 minutes. 
  6. Bring them out of the air fryer, arrange them on a serving plate, drizzle Thousand Island dressing over them, garnish with parsley leaves and serve hot.
