Ingredients
- 2 green chillies, chopped
- ½ teaspoon red chilli flakes
- ¾ cup grated cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons refined flour (maida)
- 2 cups milk
- A pinch of salt
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- Chips for serving
Method
- Heat butter in a pan, add refined flour and sauté, whisking continuously for 30 seconds.
- Add milk and cook, stirring continuously, till the mixture comes to a boil. Lower the heat, add green chillies, red chilli flakes, cheddar cheese and salt, mix well and cook, stirring continuously, till cheese melts. Add parsley and mix well.
- Transfer into a serving bowl and serve with chips.
