Ingredients list for Garlic Cheese Parantha
- 3 teaspoons fried garlic
- 50 grams Mozzarella cheese
- 50 grams Cheddar cheese
- 50 grams processed cheese
- 1 1/2 cups + for dusting Whole wheat flour (atta)
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons Oil
- 2 tablespoons Parsley chopped
- 2 teaspoons Chilli flakes dried
- 3/4 teaspoon Mixed herbs dried
- to serve Butter for applying
- to serve tomato ketchup
Method
- Take whole wheat flour in a large bowl, add salt, oil and 1 cup water and mix well. Knead to a semi-soft dough. Cover with damp muslin cloth and set aside for 5-10 minutes.
- Grate mozzarella cheese, cheddar cheese and processed cheese in a bowl. Add parsley, red chilli flakes, dried mixed herbs, fried garlic and mix well.
- Take a portion of the dough and shape it into a ball and make a cavity in the centre, stuff with a portion of the cheese mixture and bring the sides in the middle and pinch to seal and shape into a ball.
- Dust the worktop with flour and place the stuffed dough and dust with a little flour on top and roll into a thick disc.
- Heat a non-stick tawa, place the prepared disc on it and cook till done, applying with butter on both sides.
Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
