Ingredients
- 1½ cups pearl millet (bajra) flour
- ½ cup ghee
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon slivered almonds + for garnish
- 1 tablespoon slivered pistachios + for garnish
- ½ tsp green cardamom powder
Method
- Heat ¼ cup ghee in a steel pan, add pearl millet flour, and sauté for 8-10 minutes or till fragrant.
- Add 4 cups water and mix till well combined. Cover and cook for 4-5 minutes.
- Add sugar, slivered almonds and slivered pistachios and green cardamom powder and mix well.
- Add remaining ghee and mix well. Cook on medium heat for 2 minutes.
- Transfer in a serving bowl. Sprinkle almonds and pistachios on top and serve warm.
