Ingredients
- 1 medium red cabbage, shredded
- 10-12 raisins
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
- Salt to taste
- 4-5 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 large apple, thinly sliced
- 1/2 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 6-7 black peppercorns, crushed
Method
- Heat butter in a pan, add onion and sauté for a minute. Add red cabbage and salt. Mix well.
- Add garlic, mix and add sliced apples. Sauté for a minute. Sprinkle sugar and raisins.
- When apples soften, add lemon juice. Add freshly crushed black peppercorns and mix. Serve hot and crunchy
