Ingredients list for Spicy Chicken Patties With Coconut
- 350 grams Chicken Mince
- 1/2 cup Scraped Coconut
- 3 Dried red chillies
- 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon Coriander seeds
- 5 cloves Garlic
- 1 tablespoon Crushed black peppercorns
- 8-10 Curry leaves chopped
- 1 Egg beaten
- 2 tablespoons Refined flour (maida)
- for shallow frying Oil
Method
- Grind together coconut, red chillies, cumin seeds, coriander seeds and garlic to a coarse paste. Transfer the coconut paste into a bowl and add the chicken mince, crushed peppercorns, curry leaves to it. Add the egg, refined flour and mix well.
- Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into patties. Heat oil in a non stick pan and shallow fry patties till evenly done from both the sides. Drain on absorbent paper. Serve hot with green chutney.
