Ingredients list for Sevaiyaan Fruit Custard

  • 1 packet Sevaiyaan
  • 1 Vanilla custard powder cored and chopped
  • 3 Bananas peeled and chopped
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons Vanilla Custard powder
  • 2 teaspoons Ghee
  • 1 pinch Green cardamom powder
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar
  • 3-4 cups Milk
  • 1 tablespoon Cashewnuts sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Almonds sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Raisins
  • 1 tablespoon Pistachios sliced
  • for garnish Tutti frutti

Method

  1. Heat ghee in a non- stick pan. Add almonds, pistachios, cashew nuts, raisins and sauté. Break sevaiyaan, add to the pan and sauté till light brown.
  2. Transfer into a baking tray and spread. Whisk together milk and custard powder in a non-stick pan. Add sugar and whisk.
  3. Cook on low heat, stirring continuously till custard thickens.
  4. Remove from heat, add cardamom powder, apples and whisk. Add bananas and whisk. Spread the custard on the sevaiyaan.
  5. Garnish with tutti frutti and serve hot or cold.
