Ingredients list for Sabudane ki Kheer
- 1 cup Sago (sabudana) soaked for 4-5 hours
- 3 cups Milk
- ½ cup Mawa (khoya) grated
- 1 tablespoon Ghee
- 1 tablespoon Almonds chopped
- 1 tablespoon Cashewnuts chopped
- ¾ cup Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Raisins
- ½ teaspoon Green cardamom powder
Method
- Heat 4 cups water in a deep non-stick pan. Add sago, mix and cook till done.
- Add milk and mawa, mix well and cook on low heat for 4-5 minutes.
- Heat ghee in a small non-stick pan. Add almonds and cashewnuts and sauté on medium heat till golden.
- Add sugar to the sago mixture, mix well and continue to cook.
- d raisins to the nuts, mix and sauté for a minute. Add the sautéed nuts to the sago mixture and mix well.
- Add cardamom powder, mix well and cook on medium heat for 4-5 minutes.
- Serve warm.
