Ingredients list for Raw Tomatoes Sabzi
- 7-8 Raw tomatoes finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon Oil
- 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
- 1 medium Onion finely chopped
- 1 medium Capsicum finely chopped
- 2 Green chillies finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons Gram flour (besan)
- 1-2 teaspoons Red chilli powder
- to taste Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Sugar
- for garnish Chopped fresh coriander
Method
- Heat oil in non-stick pan, add mustard seeds and allow them to splutter.
- Add the onion and sauté for 5 minutes or till it turns golden brown.
- Add capsicum & green chillies and sauté for 5-6 minutes more.
- Add raw tomatoes and sauté. Cover and cook on low flame for 10 – 12 minutes or till they become soft.
- Add gram, red chilli powder, salt and sugar, mix well. Sprinkle some water, cover and cook for 5 minutes.
- Serve hot garnished with coriander.
