Ingredients list for Potato Bites with Cheesy Garlic Dip

  • 3 medium Potatoes boiled and peeled
  • 4 teaspoons Refined Flour
  • 3 tablespoons Cheese spread
  • 2 teaspoons Garlic chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Processed cheese grated
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Crushed black peppercorns
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Cumin powder
  • Fresh parsley chopped 21/2 teaspoons + for garnishing
  • Oil 1 teaspoon + for deep-frying
  • 1 teaspoon Milk
  • for garnishing Red chilli flakes 1/2 teaspoon +


  1. Grate potatoes into a bowl. Add refined flour, one tablespoon grated processed cheese, salt, crushed peppercorns, cumin powder and two teaspoons chopped parsley and mix well.
  2. Divide the mixture into twelve equal portions and shape them into bite-size patties.
  3. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Slide in the patties, a few at a time, into hot oil and deep-fry till golden. Drain on absorbent paper.
  4. To make the dip, heat one teaspoon oil in a non-stick pan. Add garlic and sauté till light golden.
  5. Place cheese spread in a bowl, add milk, red chilli flakes, remaining grated processed cheese and mix well. Add sautéed garlic along with the oil and mix well. Add half teaspoon chopped parsley and mix well.
  6. 6. Place the potato bites on a serving platter. Top with the dip, garnish with the red chilli flakes and parsley and serve immediately.
