Pepper Garlic Lobster Lobsters in a delicious pepper and garlic flavoured sauce By Sanjeev Kapoor 22 Feb 2016 in Recipes Non Veg New Update Main Ingredients Lobster, Black peppercorns Cuisine Chinese Course Main Course Seafood Prep Time 41-50 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Pepper Garlic Lobster 4 medium Lobster 15-20 Black peppercorns crushed 14-16 cloves Garlic chopped 3 tablespoons Lemon juice to taste Salt 6-8 sprigs Fresh coriander leaves 2 tablespoons Cornflour/ corn starch 1 tablespoon Oil 4 tablespoons Butter 1 small Onion chopped 1 teaspoon Sugar 2 cups Chicken stock 1/4 teaspoon MSG Method Remove the head and shell from lobsters. Wash, pat dry with an absorbent paper and cut them into one inch pieces. Add the lemon juice and half teaspoon of salt and leave aside to marinate for about half an hour. Keep the coriander sprigs in chilled water. Mix cornflour in half a cup of water. Heat oil and butter together in a wok or a pan. Add onion and garlic and stir-fry for two minutes. Add marinated lobsters, sugar and crushed peppercorns. Continue to stir-fry for one minute. Stir in chicken stock and bring the mixture to a boil. Add salt, MSG and stir in the cornflour mixture. Cook on high heat for a minute or until sauce thickens and coats the lobster pieces. Remove coriander sprigs from water and garnish the lobsters. Serve hot.
