Ingredients list for Pastama
- 1 cup Penne boiled
- Peanuts
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon Mustard seeds
- 2 Green chillies slit
- 1 tablespoon Split black gram skinless (dhuli urad dal)
- 1 tablespoon Split Bengal gram (chana dal)
- 20-25 Curry leaves
- 2-3 tablespoons Peanuts
- 6 Dried button red chillies (bor mirchi)
- 2 tablespoons Onions finely chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 3 teaspoons Veg Bolognese sauce
- to taste Salt
- 5-6 Pitted black olives sliced
Method
- Heat olive oil in a non stick pan. Add mustard seeds, green chillies, black gram, Bengal gram, curry leaves, peanuts, button chillies and saute till fragrant. Add onions and saute well.
- Add boiled pasta, turmeric powder and red chilli powder and toss well. Add veg Bolognese sauce and salt and mix well. Transfer into a serving bowl. Sprinkle black olives on top and serve hot.
