Ingredients 

  • 500 grams paneer
  • 2 medium onions
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 10-15 curry leaves
  • 2 teaspoons ginger paste
  • 2 teaspoons garlic paste
  • 3 green chillies,slit
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 1/2 cups coconut milk

Method

  1. Slice onions. Heat oil in a non stick pan, add mustard seeds, curry leaves and onions and saute till onions soften. Cut cottage cheese into big pieces.
  2. Add ginger paste and garlic paste to the pan and continue to saute. Add green chillies and saute for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add turmeric powder, salt, coconut milk and cottage cheese pieces and mix well and let everything get heated through. Serve hot with steamed rice.
