Ingredients list for Paneer Kathi Roll - SK Khazana
- 400 grams Cottage cheese (paneer) cut into strips
- 4 Whole wheat rotis
- 20-24 Onion rings
- 1 Green chilli chopped
- 1 tablespoon Vinegar
- 2 tablespoons Oil
- 1 Medium onion sliced
- 1 Medium tomato seeded and sliced
- 1 teaspoon Ginger-garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Garam masala powder
- 2 tablespoons Thick yogurt
- as required Mayonnaise
- as required Green chutney
- to sprinkle Chaat masala
Method
- Take onion rings in a bowl, add green chillies and vinegar and set aside.
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add sliced onions and sauté till golden brown. Add tomatoes and cook till the tomatoes are soft.
- Add ginger-garlic paste, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and cottage cheese strips and sauté. Add garam masala powder and yogurt. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Place each roti on work top, spread some mayonnaise and green chutney over it.
- Keep a portion of the cottage cheese mixture in the centre and top up with some onion-chilli mixture. Sprinkle chaat masala and roll tightly.
- Cut each roll into 2 equal pieces, wrap in colourful tissue napkin and arrange on serving platter. Serve immediately.
